  1. CLIP DESCRIPTION: Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) gives Rey (Daisy Ridley) the help she needs and then lifts the X-Wing from its watery grave to escape in a new official movie clip from STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER! #StarWars #TheRiseOfSkywalker

  2. This was the best scene in the sequels, to have Luke do what he couldn't in ESB. There weren't a lot of good moments in the sequels, but this is one of them.

  3. This scene and the scene with Han Solo, are the only two good things about Rise Of Skywalker.

  4. I'm sure that was one of the most genuine smiles in cinema, that wasn't luke that was Mark, after finally beeing able to Do some luke Skywalker stuff.
He made a point that he didn't like how little luke does when he got to do ANYTHING he must ve been hyped

  5. This was dumb because it should of been ghost Kylo to walk out of the flames with his dad. And Kylo should have lifted the X-Wing for Rey… Who should have really been Leah..Because you know the Spaceship scene where she flies.

  6. As far as I'm concerned, George Lucas's vision of Star Wars was RUINED by Disney, simply to cash in on the franchise and make $$$🥺😢

  7. This entire movie was a disappointment, but this scene really hit the nail on the coffin, such disrespect to the original movies, recreating everything to a character that was written so terribly.

  8. Took me a while to find this out but the only reason we see Yoda and Luke’s force ghosts interact with the living world in the Sequels is because Ahch-To is a force nexus planet. We see Obi-Wan similarly interact with the real world on Dagobah in the OT, yet when we see Obi-Wan on Hoth which is not a force sensitive planet his connection is very weak.

Just a cool thing I found out.

  9. Luke Skywalker was taught by the best Jedi master because like Obi Wan Kenobi . Luke never turned to the dark side .

  10. This moment is what makes Rey a Skywalker. The lightsaber might be a Jedi's weapon, but the weapon doesn't make the Jedi – it's the willingness to always go where they're needed that makes a Jedi a force for good. It's seeing the drowned X-Wing that first tells us how far Luke has fallen in The Last Jedi, it's seeing him raise here that shows us his renewed purpose – it's the first we see of him when he saves the cast of Mandalorian. The X-Wing embodies his legacy more than any lightsaber, and nothing better represents his trust in Rey to keep that legacy going.

  11. Yes, this was cool, but it makes you wonder why force ghosts don't do more. If he can do this, he can pull enemy ships out of the sky, and if Yoda can lightning-blast a tree, he can lightning-blast bad guys. (Of course, Palpatine's lightning game is probably still the strongest.) Can you imagine if in the final battle, there had been an army on the ground having a rough time, until, suddenly, we see a brilliant blue glow to the side as Obi-Wan says "on your left," and then… enter Every Friggin' Jedi Ever.

  12. Listen, everyone can hate me for this cause this is an unpopular opinion for sure.
I really really love this movie and think it’s the best in the sequel trilogy and thought it was a great way to end the saga. I do see the criticisms this movie gets but to me, this movie is my favorite in the sequel trilogy, not the best Star Wars movie ever but I love this movie!
